Yeah, I know I only put out a new picture every couple of months, but it would be a great self esteem boost if I had a few more watchers stalking my arts. My drawings have been getting progressively better, and while they aren't up to the same ranks as many other artists on here, Im doing my best to improve my technique and so far each of my new deviations is better than the previous! My last deviation, "Midna Beyond Twilight" got quite a few faves actually, and even a few for the preliminary sketches. So I must be doing something right if Im getting better. I am still amazed at how incredible some other artists in my medium are. Colored pencils tend to be difficult to work with since they don't blend easily. Most drawings with colored pencils tend to look cartoony but I have artists who have discovered a way to make incredibly detailed works using colored pencils and I try to aspire to their abilities. I still have a long way to go, but with each new project I complete, I get one step closer to achieving the standard of excellence. I just wonder how much excellence it takes before people start to notice and take interest in your works.
